Block a website in your PC

You can do it by an inbuilt function in your Windows. Lets see how to block a website in few steps.

1. Browse to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
2. Now, open hosts in Notepad.
3. After 127.0.0.1, press enter and write this:

127.0.0.2 www.xyz.com localhost

4. Now, save the file.
5. Reboot your PC.
Now try opening the blocked website. It will not open.

Hide a folder without hiding it

Sounds Strange? But its true. You can make a folder invisible without hiding it. Lets discover how.

First of all, you have to click on the folder you need to rename. Then, follow these steps.
1. Press F2
2. Type ALT+0160
3. Press Enter
4. Now open the properties of the folder and go to customize tab.
5. Now click on change icon and select the icon which is blank.

Now your folder is hidden. Now, if you wanna trace your folder, then you can press F5 and u can see a slight flicker of the folder so that u can delete it or move it if you want.

Log in to XP without entering password

Windows XP is now-a-days getting out dated. But if you still have not switched to Windows Vista, then this post is going to be very useful to you.

If you are stuck up with the boot screen and have forgotten your password, then read this and recover your password.

When you start the computer, after the memory counting process, press F8. After that you will be asked a number of options. From that select Safe Mode.

After that, go to administrator at the log on screen.
Now go to Control Panel and select your user account.
Click on remove password and reboot

Its done!!

Congratulations, now you can log in to Windows XP without password.
